Every garment that we reproof is return shipped with a complimentary wet fly, Wildfell’s Pheasant and Green. It’s our way of saying “Thank You.” Let us know how it works for you when you use it.
Wildfell’s Pheasant and Green is a Yorkshire spider-style wet fly. As such, it is impressionistic, aiming to simulate life as opposed to a particular form. With that said, though it can be used as an attractor pattern, it comes into its own as an imitator of emerging American grannom (Brachycentrus sp.) and green caddis (Ryacophila sp.). Having employed it on a number of watercourses here in Vermont, we’ve found it to be particularly effective on brown trout during the evening hours from late May to the beginning of July.
