Description

Using a drift boat is a western approach to fly-angling that works great on the White River and Winooski River here in Vermont, from May to mid-June and from September to the end of October.  It goes to show that not all the good ideas come out of the sophisticated Northeast, contrary to what your Ivy League friends might believe.  Along portions of the White River’s mainstem, you may hook into landlocked Atlantic salmon in addition to more commonly encountered brown and rainbow trout.
